Cafein exists to help that craft be seen. We want local coffee shops and roasters to meet the people who could love what they do. And we want coffee lovers to find places they feel at home, whether they live in a city or have just arrived.

So discovery on Cafein starts with you. Your taste profile, feedback on coffees you try, saved cafés and in-app discoveries help us understand what you enjoy in a cup and in a place.

Drawing on AI, the taste and recommendation system is built to turn those preferences into meaningful discoveries. The taste engine matches coffees to your profile, while recommendations also consider available menu and café information. Each suggestion comes with a reason you could enjoy it.
Its value is in the connection it can help create: visiting a local café you haven’t met yet, discovering a different roaster, finding a coffee you love. Technology helps those encounters happen. Coffee and the people sharing it remain at the heart of the story.
04 / From discovery to a daily ritual

A good discovery can become a familiar habit. Having a regular coffee stop is part of the connection you build with a city. CafeinCard supports that relationship through participating cafés’ own loyalty programmes.
One CafeinCard lets you follow those programmes in the same app. Each café decides what you earn and how you redeem it. Rewards belong to that café’s programme and do not transfer between cafés.

A city’s coffee culture grows together.
Coffee culture lives through cafés, roasters, baristas and coffee lovers. It grows in a question asked at a tasting, a brewing method learned at a workshop, or the excitement of someone starting a job in coffee.
Cafein brings events, coffee job opportunities and the people contributing to that culture together. In time, Cafein Shop aims to help bring discovered beans and coffee goods into your home ritual too. Shop is a part of this story that is still in preparation.
